ABOUT

EchoWave is a psychedelic power-pop project conceived by Samuel Croaker, calling on inspiration from forgotten groups of the late 1960’s the music evokes dusty memories and a bed of warmth that is utterly enjoyable. Sam has been recording compulsively for years and is joined live by Sebastian, Nick, Nathan & Nicholas to deliver the music in its true form while captivating their audiences with flashes of hearty rock to keep the bodies moving.

After releasing their debut self-titled EP in late 2017, EchoWave gained significant momentum in the local scene. Playing countless shows across Queensland, they seem to be a hot ticket that consistently brings a special concoction of nuance and blistering energy that flows uniquely at every stage.

2019 saw the release of “Fantasyland” it serves as a snapshot into the life and mind of Sam, a chronic dreamer, with themes of self-reflection riddled with a yearning for genuine love “Fantasyland” evokes feelings of nostalgia that the listener can blissfully float away on. Now the trajectory of EchoWave seems to only be skyward as they continue to mature and transform into a shining ray that cannot be replicated, keep yours eyes wide and your ears tuned, the horizon looks bright.
