Loaded with colour, glitter and hot glue guns, Melbourne craft-based designer, Kitiya Palaskas recently took us through the ins and outs of her signature felt wall hangings.
Throughout the evening, Kit gave participants a run down on her practice and inspiration before demonstrating her impressive creative talents.
The class was given the freedom to create whatever design they wanted, as Kit contributed ideas with placement, techniques and an excellent 90's RnB playlist. Participants were encouraged to focus on collage, typography while playing with shapes and colour.
During the workshop Kit talked about her experiences as an independent artist, her background and how is actually feels being a creative person in a fast-paced digital world.
Everyone left this workshop with their own take home wall hanging that they could feel proud of, as well as a desire to get crafty, have fun and make and create with friends.
