David Cragg's mural for BLOCK PARTY 2019 provides an opportunity for reflection and exploration into the effects humans have on Country. Contrasting a sweeping landscape of Australian bush with varied industrial elements, Cragg places himself into the role of a reconnoitre, overlooking the humanistic impact on the dwindling fringes of native flora and fauna. Local native flora and native pollinators are featured throughout the work.
