Heart-felt Wall Hangings
In this fast-paced digital world it’s easy to get wrapped up in what’s happening online and forget to stop and take a breath away from a screen. With so much content being thrown at us every day, it can also be hard to shut out the noise and check in with how we’re actually feeling as creative people.
Craft-based designer Kitiya Palaskas is passionate about celebrating all things handmade by providing opportunities for people to spend time on tactile creative pursuits. She is also interested in encouraging more open dialogue around the feelings-y side of being a creative person, as she feels it’s something that isn’t widely discussed.
This unique workshop experience will allow you to get back to basics and away from your screens. Incorporating empowering messages, typography, collage, and craft, Kitiya will show you how to make an elaborate, personalised wall hanging using her signature felt collaging techniques. While you cut and paste, she will lead a conversation about how it feels to be a creative person navigating the industry today. Think of it as craft with a side of self-help! Snacks and bevvies will be provided, and spaces are limited, so book now before it’s too late!
